About Islam

The primordial faith revealed as a mercy to all of humanity.

The Faith

A Message of Unity

Islam is a religion centered primarily around the Quran, considered by Muslims to be the direct word of Allah as revealed to Muhammad (PBUH), the final prophet. It is the world's second-largest religion with over 2 billion followers, representing a quarter of the global population.

Muslims believe that Islam is the complete and universal version of a primordial faith revealed through many prophets including Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus (AS).

Like other Abrahamic faiths, Islam teaches of a Day of Judgement where the righteous are rewarded in Jannah (Paradise) and the unrighteous are punished in Jahannam (Hell).

The Golden Age & Expansion

Originating in the 7th century at Jabal al-Nour, Islam spread across continents through trade, dawah, and various caliphates. The Islamic Golden Age (8th–13th century) marked a period of unparalleled scientific, economic, and cultural flourishing under the Abbasid Caliphate.
